I like to imagine that Miraak also spent the last few millennia as Hermaeus Mora's librarian lackey. Considering that all of the books in Apocrypha are supposed to be plain black and without titles, organizing them into their correct sections would probably require an eternity. 

No wonder Miraak wanted to leave.
